Index of Multiple Deprivation at district level

Scarborough district has 17 out of the 23 LSOAs in North Yorkshire which are within the most deprived 20% in England in the Index of Multiple Deprivation 2015. While Harrogate has the largest number of LSOAs of any North Yorkshire district (104 in total) only one is within this lowest quintile and none of the LSOAs in Hambleton or Ryedale are within the most deprived national quintile.
